WAKE UP WITH THE NEW MCSKILLET BURRITO™
Celebrating Over 30 Years of Waking Up with McDonald’s Breakfast
New York, N.Y. (February 2008) – McDonald’s Tri-State area restaurants are celebrating over 30 years of McDonald’s breakfast by welcoming their latest addition – the new McSkillet Burrito. The made-to-order McSkillet Burrito is giving customers an exciting new way to start their morning.
The McSkillet Burrito is made with premium ingredients and combines breakfast favorites including fresh scrambled eggs, sausage and skillet potatoes with savory flavors of the South West like melted cheddar jack and American cheeses, roasted red and green bell peppers, onions and salsa roja, all melded together in a warm flour tortilla. The McSkillet Burrito is a convenient hand held breakfast choice during the morning rush.
“We’re really excited about the new McSkillet burrito and we know that our customers will be too,” says Paul Hendel, president of the New York Tri-State Area Owners and Operators Association. “For years our customers have enjoyed coming to McDonald’s for breakfast and we’re happy to offer this delicious new item.”
McDonald’s has long been a breakfast destination for customers on the go. Its popular breakfast menu has expanded to include a robust variety of choices of hand held favorites such as the Sausage Biscuit and McGriddle® sandwich to signature platters and hash browns.
Whether it’s through the drive-thru or in the restaurant, McDonald’s customers can enjoy the new McSkillet Burrito with a cup of Premium Roast Coffee without paying a premium price, all in one convenient place.
The McSkillet Burrito is $2.49 each, available at participating McDonald's restaurants nationwide. Prices and participation may vary.
