RMHC®/HACER

As part of their commitment to education, the Ronald McDonald House Charities® Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources® (RMHC®/HACER®) has awarded over $3 million to more than 500 students in the NY Tri-State area.   Now in its 21st year, the program created a new angle to present its top winners with surprise check presentations.  Below you can see first hand the surprise presentations.  They are:

  1. Univision WXTV Channel 41 news anchor Rafael Pineda awards Damaris Sanchez a $20,000 RMHC/HACER Scholarship.  Damaris is a graduate of Baruch College Campus High in New York City
  2. Telemundo WNJU Channel 47 reporter Odalys Molina awards Amanda Alcantara a $10,000 RMHC/HACER Scholarship.  Amanda is a graduate of Memorial High in West New York, NJ
